Burundian women human rights defenders, appeal to His Excellency, in his capacity as President and Supreme Magistrate of the Republic of Burundi, to take all necessary measures to ensure that their six (6) sisters women human rights defenders and their two (2) brothers human rights defenders currently in detention, are released immediately and unconditionally.
They are all detained for their patriotic commitment to the defence of human rights in their capacity as journalists, educators or members of human rights organisations.
